updatedb creates or updates a database used by locate(1). If the
database already exists, its data is reused to avoid rereading directo‐
ries that have not changed.

Certo che se scorrere il filesystem una volta al giorno ti scassa il disco...
siam messi bene! Magari se gli permetti di attraversare mount point
di rete tifo NFS/Samba puó rallentare un po'...
